Tan solo en M\u00e9xico, durante el periodo 2010-2020 se registraron 609,806 suicidios, de los cuales 55,745 fueron por asfixia. En el presente estudio se evaluaron 14 variables en muertes de asfixia por ahorcadura, mediante un an\u00e1lisis retrospectivo, observacional y descriptivo, el cual fue realizado en la base de datos del Servicio M\u00e9dico Forense de la zona centro de M\u00e9xico.
